Hassle Free Returns!*
Item doesn’t fit? Color not exactly what you pictured? Just not what you thought you were ordering? Not a problem! We want you to be happy with your purchase from Hilton’s Tent City. Returns and exchanges are accepted on items that have not been worn, altered, or washed, and with all tags
attached. Returns for refund must be received by Hilton’s Tent City within
30 days of you receiving your order. Merchandise received after 30 days will
be issued a store credit for future purchases. Exchanges must be received
within 60 days of you receiving your order.
*Any used merchandise is subject to refusal or 15% cleaning charge at the
store's discretion.
*This policy does not apply to Bargain Basement items
Also, due to legality issues our insurance provider requires, please note
that climbing equipment (harnesses, carabiners, rope, protection, etc.) is
non-returnable under any circumstances.
Bargain Basement Items
In order to continue giving you great deals, the Bargain Basement items are
non-refundable, and can only be returned for exchange or store credit unless
otherwise noted. Exchanges on Bargain Basement items must be received within
30 days of when you received them.
To Make A Return or Exchange by Mail
Returning an item for Refund
Please include a copy of your receipt, invoice, or packing list. Please
write that you would like the amount refunded to your credit card. Please
note that refunds will only be made to card used for the original purchase.
Please allow 7-10 days from when you return your package for your account to
be credited. Allow 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.
If the original payment was made by bank check, or money order you will be
mailed a refund check within 10 days.
If the original payment was made by a Gift Certificate or Store Credit, you
will be issued a Store Credit within 10 days. A copy of your Store Credit
will be mailed to your address on file.
Returning an item for Exchange
Please include a copy of your receipt, invoice, or packing list. Please
write the item that you would like in exchange. It is helpful if you call in
advance to ensure that we have the item that you would like in stock.
Any Other Returns
Please call us at 800-362-8368 to make any other arrangements.

Back Orders
Most orders will ship from Boston, MA within one business day, orders
placed over the weekend will normally go out on Monday. If the item you
ordered is out of stock, we will attempt to contact you via email and
phone alerting you of the status. If we have not shipped your item within
30 days, we will notify you before shipping. Hilton’s Tent City
will pay ground freight on back orders when the value of remaining items
exceeds $30.00.
Special Orders
Hilton’s Tent City will be more than happy to special order any
product that our vendors have in stock. Until an employee confirms the
order, we cannot guarantee delivery dates or availability of an item.
All special orders are considered Final Sale and are non-refundable or
exchangeable. Simply email us at support@hiltonstentcity.com or call us
at 800-362-8368 with as much information as possible, and we will get
back to you as soon as possible.
International Shipping Instructions
Including Canada, APO, FPO, and US Territories.
You may order by telephone (617-227-9242), fax (617-523-5597), or email
the order to support@hiltonstentcity.com. Please be sure to include a
telephone number and/or an email address so we can contact you if necessary.
Payments may be made by credit card, money orders, and certified bank
checks drawn on US funds. All freight charges, taxes, tariffs, duties,
and other fees incurred by receiving merchandise from the United States
are the responsibility of the purchaser. We ship via USPS Air Parcel Post
unless otherwise requested. Hilton’s Tent City will not be responsible
for lost or damaged packages shipped internationally. We will act only
as a negotiation medium thru specific carriers insurance. A complete address
must accompany orders, as Hilton’s Tent City will not refund freight
charges on undeliverable packages returned to us.
International Shipping Rates
All international shipments are shipped via USPS and we charge you the
exact amount of the shipping including applicable insurance, no handling
fees will be charged. Should you require other shipping arrangements (UPS,
FED-EX, etc.), please contact Hilton’s Tent City by telephone, fax,
or email.
International Back Orders
All International orders with any back ordered items will be held until
complete to avoid unnecessary freight charges to the customer. If an item
is no longer available it will be canceled from your order and you will
be notified via email and telephone if available.
